Learning Literacy with Community for NaNoWriMo

National Novel Writing Month Brings Writing Community Together

It's not just at Shoreline Community College where people are getting into the writing spirit this November. The events that are happening on campus are drawing people in from all over the King County area. Writers are sharing their journeys along with the tips they have learned along the way. Writing 50,000 words in one month makes you feel like you've experienced something significant when you do it with another person and these people are diving into the challenge together.

Write In Wednesdays

In 2018 Wednesdays are not only going to be write-ins, where writers can find a quiet space to be with other writers, but Shoreline Community College Library is hosting free workshops that will give writers an edge. Each of the workshops is taught by one of Shoreline's instructors who have their own fantastic accolades in the field of creative writing.

Writing is a journey and self-improvement is a road we don't have to walk alone.
